Online one-on-one coaching · Based in Japan
English that holds up when it actually matters.
Live coaching for Japanese adults who need to speak — in meetings, in interviews, and in the rest of life. No textbook, no lecture. Real material, real conversation, and a coach who learned Japanese the hard way and knows exactly where you are stuck.
60-minute sessions, one-on-one, on Google Meet.

What makes this different
Conversation, not curriculum
You will not be handed a textbook chapter. Every session is built around speaking, reacting, and being understood at natural speed.
Real material, every week
Bring an article, a report, a job description — something from your actual life. We read it together, pull it apart, and you build your own position on it, out loud.
A coach on both sides of the language
I learned Japanese as an adult and passed JLPT N1. I know which habits Japanese speakers get stuck on, and why the textbook answer often does not help.
What an hour actually looks like
The same shape every time, so you always know what you are walking into.
- 1
Bring something real
An article, a news piece, a deck you have to present next week. If you do not have one, I will pick something from your field.
- 2
Read it together
We work through it out loud — vocabulary you will genuinely reuse, phrasing that sounds natural rather than translated.
- 3
Form your own view
I ask what you think. Then I push, gently, until you can defend it in English without composing it in Japanese first.
- 4
Say it again, better
We rebuild the weakest part of what you said. You leave the call owning two or three phrases you did not have an hour ago.
Who this is for
- Professionals whose English is fine on email and falls apart in meetings.
- Anyone preparing for interviews at a global or foreign-affiliated company.
- People who studied English for years and still hesitate before speaking.
- Adults who want a standing weekly hour that forces them to use it.
Who this is not for
- Complete beginners — you should be comfortable reading simple English before we start.
- Anyone looking for TOEIC score tactics or exam drilling.
- Learners who want homework corrected rather than conversation practised.
